CASSIE AND ANA. Oh! What a tangled web we weave. Do either of you have any thoughts of pleasant goings-on to offer? Glenda is (understandably) rather upset, and Nimue is (being Nimue) ready to maim. I'd rather not gossip, I'd just like to discuss anything less inflammatory.
NIMUE. Let's book-shop tonight; it might help to take your mind off of things. These winter cloaks are calling your name, absolutely. I have a new catalogue.

It would appear that someone thought it appropriate to remove my notes from Charms after I had excused myself from class briefly. If you happen to know the whereabouts of those notes (a stack of parchment in a black leather satchel; my name is sewn into the inside), I would appreciate having them back. Thank you very much.

You certainly aren't doing me a favour, whoever you are. It's been almost two days.
Missing notes notwithstanding, I have enjoyed my time back at Hogwarts. The break was much-needed, but I've had enough of Brianna's new beau to last me a lifetime. I'm very glad she's happy. I wish he were less crass; I'm not sure how Dad feels about him, but it seems as if Mam is content.
I'm really looking forward to Melissa's upcoming match. If Ravenclaw wins, I think I'll buy myself a new pair of shoes. If she'll let me, I'll buy her a pair as well. It is already January, and I'm a little bit anxious. If Glenda were more sedate, she and I could have a nice conversation about the future. At current, it's a little worrisome.

Potions, Practical Exam - Friday, 16th - 1330 to 1400
Transfiguration, Practical Exam - Monday, 19th - 1330 to 1400
This oughtn't be too difficult. I think defense will be the worst of it... but there's time enough to study.

CHARMED PRIVATE. I woke up this morning to discover that it was snowing! I heard about it before I got to see it, considering our lack of window visibility in the dungeons. Mondays are my busiest, but I made it outside before everything was completely trampled. There's a wonderful area near the grounds-keeper's home that seemed mostly untouched. I walked around for a bit. It's much too cold to do anything else outdoors, especially throwing the snow. Hardly anyone involved in the snowball fight had gloves or mittens on their hands! It's a wonder that they were able to stay comfortable. I managed to dodge everything on my way to and from the grounds-keeper's area; I suppose they realised I wasn't playing. I appreciated it.
I think I'll bring some materials up to the Astronomy Tower before it gets dark. It's an interesting perspective, up high.
